Q: When was Bethel Christian founded?
A: The school was founded in 1972.

Q: Is it a fully graded program?
A: Yes, we offer a pre-school, a primary and elementary school, and a college preparatory program in the high school.

Q: What curriculum does the school offer?
A: For the most part, Bethel uses the Bob Jones Press materials. It also uses Abeka Publications for the secondary spelling program, and Positive Action for Christ is used for the secondary Bible.Summit Minsitries is used for the Worldviews course taught to seniors.  

Q: Are the students tested?
A: Yes, all students (K5-G12) are tested anually with the Stanford Achievement Test Edition 10. All grade levels have scored above the national average. Please check out our

Q: If my child wishes to attend a state university, is the school equipped to provide that opportunity?
A: Yes, the school does provide a college directed program that satifies the requirements for such institutions. It is, however, our desire to see our young people continue their education at a Christian college or university.

A: Yes, the course is required for graduating seniors. The program is developed by
Summit Ministries.

Q: What do you do to promote a spiritual atmosphere?
A: A Godly faculty, weekly chapel services, a Bible based curriculum, and a restrictive admisisons policy that limits admission to Christian families.

Q: What are the facilities like at Bethel?
A: The ministry has nice and attractive classrooms, a large gymnasium, library, computer lab, science lab, cafeteria, and commerical kitchen.

Q: Does the school have a hot lunch program.
A: Yes, there is a nutritional meal served five days a week. There is a monthly menu posted.

Q: What is the longevity and experience of the administration and faculty?

Q: Does the school offer opportunties for home school students?
A: Yes, the school offers any class taught at Bethel to home school students who qualify. They may also become involved in our fine arts and athletic programs. Bethel Baptist Church has a
home school group that falls under the ministry of the church. Home school students must meet the same criteria as full time students.
